On each month’s issue, we would like to share with you stories from mission fields partnering with Mission Headquarter of Youth With A Mission, Korea. We would like to call it, Mission Focus, and would like to take a moment to pray for the field remembering those who are working faithfully in the frontiers and refreshing our own calling to the Great Commission. We’re hoping that God would make great difference  to missionaries, their families, and their ministries through our prayer.

On this issue, we invite you to pray for Niama, who has been working faithfully in a country in the Middle East for three decades. Here is her story that has been sent to the Mission Headquarter.

Niama (B Country)

“I’ve just received permanent resident visa for B country after being in the Middle East for 30 years since God’s called me. I’ve been traveling with tourist’s visa until now. On the day that God provided the visa in spite of many issues, I was encouraged by the will of God that He’s called me to this land as I mediated on Psalm 2. I had a chance to build a network at a meeting for workers in the Middle East while I was waiting for visa for 6 weeks in G country. At the meeting, a gentleman shared his thesis, and a line what he said was stuck in my mind.

Refugee became Reformer”

Through this new perspective, God gave me a new vision. God told me to be a servant for the refugees of S country who are in severe hardship now so that they would re-build churches and societies, and would change nations around them.

Niama is praying that churches would be built up for the refugees of S country as she solidify their faith through the Word and pray every Saturday at N refugee camp. She wants to serve in a sphere of education and healthcare in S country strategically. For this, she prays to launch several holistic ministries, such as, (1) illiteracy elimination program – for the believes and the gospel hearers to read the Bible, (2) English educatioin – for the youth to build up their own identity and prepare the future, (3) hygienic education and healthcare – bringing people from S country to B country, (4) teachers training for the early childhood education, and (5) English ETI.

[Please Pray for N Refugee Camp Ministry]

  • Pray for new believers would understand the Word and grow with faith in prayer through the Bible study groups and prayer meetings so that the Kingdom would come to individuals, families, and local communities, and that churches would be built for S country.
  • Pray that God would open a door to use directly the S Online Training Program to the teenage girls and ladies so that they would be able to be built on biblical values and identity.
  • Pray that God would clear the way for the S refugee at N camp to participate at the English ETI. Pray to start English class for the teenagers.
  • Pray that God would send many workers who could do these ministries, and intercessors.
